Tucker Dean

Tucker is an experienced data scientist and analyst in the specialty finance space. Prior to joining Encina, he was on the research team at Bayview Asset Management focusing on the development of consumer loan origination platforms and valuation and risk models for whole loan portfolios. He also spent time at 2nd Order Solutions, integrating machine learning models across all phases of the lending lifecycle to support asset originators.

Tucker holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Gonzaga University and earned his master’s in economics from the University of Oregon.
