Bob Kennedy

Robert (Bob) Kennedy is Executive Vice President and Senior Advisor for Encina Lender Finance and brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services to the role. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Encina Capital Group and Encina Private Credit, where he oversaw financial strategy, operations, and reporting across multiple platforms.

Prior to joining Encina, Bob was Chief Financial Officer of NewWorld Capital Group, a private equity firm focused on investing in the environmental opportunities sector. Earlier in his career, he held several senior finance leadership roles at GE Capital, including Divisional CFO for a $27 billion asset management platform and a $10 billion Commercial & Industrial Finance business.

Bob began his career in the audit practice of KPMG Peat Marwick. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University and resides in Fairfield, Connecticut.
